Willow slough

Went out to willow slough after picking up my auger for repair at the farm and fleet in Bourbonnais. Beware. The mechanics there are incompetent at working on STRIKEMASTER augers. Even though they are listed as a authorized repair center. Fished for a couple hours and hoped around 30 holes with only a couple gills to show. Several guys out with tip ups and shanties. All with the same results. Praying for wamer temps. Ice was around 8”

i was out at the slough today, i went 0-7 flags with a decent pike biting me off at the hole, makes me with i have brought the 8" auger out.
