Title: best bait for crappie/perch

had a great first weekend out!! caught a ton of nice pickeral on  :tipup:!!!! my jiggin needs some help was all over wit flasher marked a few fish couldnt get them to bite!! what is best bait for crappie and prech thanks guys safe fishing

Crappie minnow, Wax worm, small jigging rap with minnow head, if legal a percheye.

Perch eye or silver belly meat work really well and you can use one pice or eye to catch20-50 fish

My favorite is a #10 pink or froggie diamond jig tipped with a couple maggots. 9 times out of 10 that will catch crappie.

My favorite is a small treble hook and a Crappie minnow. Hook the minnow right behind the dorsal fin (try not to hit the spine). I'm gonna try adding a small spoon above the hook and see if it works...

Anything by northland! I like the Northland forage minnow, northland buckshot, and the northland tungsten jigs are good too! and the Lindy micro stick jig..have fun and be safe!

Red glow CJ&S Diamond jig with 3-5 maggots has been working pretty good for me.

Shinners (tip-ups), Sm Silver Kastmaster, Hali jigs for Perch.

Live crappie minnow #1, Waxie #2,  2 Lb test line. Perch are not as picky as a crappie.

spikes, squid in secret sauce, perch eyes, perch belly, strips of golden shiners, pieces of minnies......

As far as bait goes I use scudbugs covered in Berkley Crappie attractant. Works like a charm!
