Auger Safety
« on: Dec 16, 2007, 10:01 PM »
CAUTION VERY SHARP!!
Last year I was trying to save my buddy's pole (down the hole).I sliped on smooth ice and landed with my arm on the open blades of a 8" auger. I still dont have total use of my right hand.Needless to say take extra caution around the auger and cover the blades.

P.S. This happened on Thomas lk. in Montcalm I was woundering if anyone has heard about this?

I Either put the guard on or drill a half hole and stand the auger up in it < one less thing to trip over >
