underwater fish lights?
« on: Jan 18, 2006, 06:36 PM »
came across this on the internet some time ago,

http://www.optronicsinc.com/fishing.htm#fishnlites

anyone ever used anything like the submersible lights? supposed to attract fish, or bait fish or something?

I wonder how they would work when using an underwater camera?

Sphynx 000,
Those are pretty cool.  When I was younger we would use a sinking light off one side of the raft and a floating one off the other for crappies.  The lights draw in the minnows and the slabs.  The fluorescent ones seem like they would use less energy.
I use a lantern in the winter but the sinking fluorescent might really work good.  I'll
have to look for them at Cabelas.
