Title: Byers Lake
Post by: FrankAk on Dec 03, 2006, 11:55 PM
I am interested in fishing byers lake for a day or two over my christmas vacation. Would there be any suggestions anybody would be willing to part with? I think I will be targeting burbot/lakers/char/rainbows. I am wanting to set some burbot set lines up and then jig with like a wildeye minnow tipped with herring or something in my ice tent.

I was also wondering about long lake. If I could do about the same thing there?

Sorry if it seems like I am probing and trying to steal your guys fishing spots. But as a high school student I dont make much money and like to make my outings count as much as possible.

If your interested I have some good spots I could "trade" you through a PM. I fish a lot on the kenai peninsula but am trying to expand my way north.
