Big Mini Mite
« on: Sep 22, 2011, 09:06 PM »
I was at a local tackle store and saw Big Mini mites for the first time.  Has anyone used these for jigging for walleye, bass, and northern?  It looks like it is a viable option for these species.

Can you give us a bit more of a description as to shape, length, weight and maybe hook size? Does it look like a copepod at this link?

No it is a jig with a plastic tail.  They are made by cubby fishing tackle.  http://www.cubbylures.com

Screwed up posting so here is the rest.  the mini version works well for crappies and blue gills.  The big version is approximately 3.5" long.  Looks like it could be goood for walleye etc.

Ive used the mini's quite a bit and had great luck on gills, crappies, and the occasional bass. They come in about 10xxx different colors.
I caught a fish once!

I bought a few 2 years ago and have only one left. They did work, just went with the Custom Jigs and Spins.
