Has anyone used a battery powered chain saw to cut their spearing hole? If so, how well did it work for you?
take care,
Dave  :>)

Huntingdave, this past winter I used a Milwaukee M 18Fuel battery Chainsaw. I cut approximately 40 to 50 pike spearing holes for myself and friends with it. It is a tough saw and a huge timesaver I am very happy with mine. It is a expensive saw but maybe you can find one on sale the summer. I lucked into mine by winning a raffle

I did use a batt. chain saw from Harbor freight. It was great for 1 and 1/2 holes . took it back
