Bear lake area

Im from outta state so scouting is not an option. But will be in bear lake area around the 26th-28th  and wondering what the ice situation is if theres any. Was thinking about bringing my gear when i come. Please no smart remarks as ill have my kids with me

Most likely ice will not be good, lake Cadillac and Mitchell i heard were open again after the last few warm days. Any lakes that had some ice were hurt with all the snow in the area. My guess would be smaller lakes around a week later depending on snow.... But i would bring the gear just in case, rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it
