OMIGOD....a sammie made in heaven! Loved bshweiger ever since I was a young Rebel without a cause. I'm hooked on Deutsche Küche brand....on a soft swiss rye, buttered thickly, with a nice slice of TJ's red soft danish Havarti. Pile on those thin-sliced onyums, baby!!! I'm ready for one!!!

For me tonite...Simple fare. A 10 oz strip, loaded salad, and a hot buttered ciabatta roll.

1 piece of smoked salmon and some bourbon tonight.getting the farm ready for cold weather even tho it hit 75 and had me sweating..shot a sickly thin coon this morning.eyes all gunky and was super thin,slow moving too.

correct.believe it to be canine distemperment disease.i did not keep the tail like i did from all the others.i threw in in our death pit.thats where all the hog carcasses went after slaughter.its a silo buried in the ground with ventilation.its a self cleaning unit where maggots feast.lol

At deer camp back in the mid 40's the "hostess" called it "Island Bulldog". AKA roasted 'coon... Darn good if'n ya didn't know what it really was.

And no... I'm not THAT old. that was the old man's story from when he was a lad.

lol i know..theres been maggots in there from the 60s till now.ive been throwing fish carcasses in there because animals dig them up putting them in my garden.i see a few deer in there and my oladys sisters dog along with the coons and woodchucks ive been shooting.pretty unique thing to have a death pit on the property.

Getting ready to grate a horseradish root from plants that have been growing here since the 60s.i took a piece of root and put it in a pot to grow and transplant somewhere else that less shaded.hope to put some on a burger later.
