That all began back in my youth when a "case of the munchies"

overtook my my abilities to think right. No more of that stuff...but I'll still make one of those sammies on occasion.

One of my buddies in HS would make a PB sandwich, throw a slice of baloney on it, then some Miracle Whip, a big slather of apple butter, then smush a handful of chips on it...... 'Course, he listened to lotsa Frank Zappa, and smoked a lot of his home-grown doobage. He ended up getting a PhD from the U of M, and designed gyro stabilizers for NASA and the space shuttle flights. He now has his own huge scientific consulting company and has written numerous papers and manuals. Guess those sandwiches were the bfast of champions....

I make mine with 1/2 pound ground pork, 1/2 pound ground beef, packaged meatloaf mix, sweet peppers, onions, and Italian breadcrumbs. Ketchup optional after it comes out of the oven!
