Ever try doing corn in the microwave?

Strip the large outside leaves, (the “flappie ones”), and put one or two ears in the microwave with the remaining husks left on. Nuke 4 minutes per ear. Take out of the microwave, cut the entire large end off, and squeeze the cob from the tasseled end.
Voila, the ear comes out clean with no tassels attached.
I like to spread butter on a piece of bread, and roll the cob until nicely coated. Mmmm!

That's the only way I've ever done my corn. Stripped and washed; leave wet, place in a narrow glass 9x5 baking dish with a couple Tbsps water. Cover with Saran wrap. Cook two ears 3 mns 15 secs. (1250 watt) Let sit about one minute to steam. Comes out with a nice bit of crunch, just like I like it.  🌽

Basically the same method without the cleaning, baking dish, and Saran Wrap! Steams in the husk.No mess, no fuss! 😁

 Pulled 1 out , I must say I think it turned out ok

Picked up some fried chicky for lunch tomorrow, so probably do a piece or two and a shrimp bowl.

Had filet mignon on the grill from the 1/4 cow we just bought.grilled that along with some sweet potato in foil with brown sugar and butter.decent.

Had a thin-sliced roast beef with melted swiss and cheddar on rye, BBQ tato chips, handful of blueberries, and glass of milk.

Dam, only $3 for the store made stuff I got, it's one of the better ones I've had.

Lol, maybe, I don't do zucchini either, but boss brought some in to work and I grabbed some so the old lady could make bread out of it, I didn't care for it,  but I'm the only here that likes rhubarb. I usually cut up chicken boobs for my tenders, don't do the store bought stuff.

Dam, I'd like to see that, I just do rhubarb pie and cake, lots of people eat the cake and don't know what they're eating, old ladies mom was one, hated rhubarb, lol. Had to learn to make everything as my grandmother made it all, once she was gone, there was no more and she didn't have any recipes, I asked once for some and got laughed at, little this, some of that and great food appeared, even when she didn't have anything in the fridge. Hmmm, wonder if mom was adopted, cause she didn't cook like that.
