Looks good to me!  Hard to fudge up a pot roast, unless ya overcook it.
Looks like smoked pigger chops, sweet 'taters, peas with pearl onyums, and garlic knots in a couple hours for me. I watched some celebrity on a cooking show today, showing how to make oyster stew...ah, man, she didn't have a clue!!! She cooked up a pile of diced onions, about a bag of parsely, poured in low-fat milk, and then......drained and rinsed the oysters before adding! That was her stew.
Wondering where in the heck she found that idea!  ::) Oyster liquor is never drained off in good oyster stew, you don't use onions, and you use cream or at least half and half with the milk, that's just the basics. Lots of good butter, some stir in a bit of flour too, black pepper, and maybe a shot or two of red pepper or hot sauce.
Oh oh... I'm making myself hungry... :P

Porterhouse from my buddies cow, he raises Herefords. Raised on grass, finished on corn... Best beef I've had...

That sounds good. I haven't had fried chicken in batter for many, many years. It's always baked, broiled or grilled with no skin. Time to pig out on a huge bucket, methinks.... :P Hmmm...do we have a Colonel Sanders?  ???

The turkey got me goin', so...makin' baked chicky thighs in brown gravy, herb stuffing, mashed taters, baked maple buttered squash, Injun corn, cranberry sauce, asiago cheese puffs. That oughtta get me to snooze off in the recliner just in time to miss half of my movie.  ;D
