Leftovers again. Went to lunch with a buddy after my Mayo appt to a great Chinese place. Huge helpings, managed to bring home a container of pork-fried rice and a couple pork eggrolls with hot mustard.  :P

Dragon fruit is the fruit of a kind of cactus that grows in dry areas of South America.
Mixes pretty good with vodka.

I made fish cakes for my contribution to Thanksgiving dinner today. I used the leftover bony portions from some pike fillets I'd been saving, and they turned out great.

The recipe in this story -- https://www.onthewater.com/life-gives-fallfish-make-fish-cakes -- is one of my favorite things to cook.

42* and sunny out, so I Apple-wood smoked some CSR's while watching the Bucs. Rounded out with some brussels sprouts in butter, smashed taters, and parmesan garlic toast.

Well, ya can cook 'em right in the shell on the smoker if ya want. But I like to peel 'em and give 'em about a half hour of cold smoke...around 125* deg. Try this on deviled eggs....better make extras, too.  ;D
