Clam lock
« on: Nov 02, 2021, 07:06 PM »
Hey peeps,  looking at Clams new "clam lock" puck system,  looks pretty sweet.
Do you think that puck would fit other hub models...like Eskimos hub houses?

yes it will. only thing that might need to be modified with the other brands other then Clam is the length of the eye bolt but most should just bolt right in place if the original hub eye bolt is long enough.
Fishing is not a hobby it is a way of life

The puck looks similar to the Catch Cover puck but I don’t think they are interchangeable.

3 clamlock's came in the mail, want to try it on my Eskimo hub.  Eye bolt isnt long enough, at least I cant get the nut to catch the bolt.
Going to see if I can get a little longer eye bolt tomorrow; it should work great.

Well, im struggling trying to get the nut to lock on the eye bolt.  If it was a quarter an inch longer it would work.

I'll be going to hardware store tomorrow
