HEHEHE Germ . I believe I recall a story of the Germ spud taking a wee bit of a swim last year never to be seen again but fish loved your idea of the new structure eh . Lol ;) ;D

LOL.... The Guy who Lost it... AKa SPudsie on here (he posted a few times last year...) He was kind enough to goto the same supplier that i got my spud bar from... ANd ASked the man to make me another... Though it Isnt the same as my last Spud bar (i liked the weight and power it had) It still will Crack thru the ice with the same effort ... ANd yes We did manage to see my lost spud bar on the Bottom of the lake with the Aqu-vu... WIth perch already using it as a protection stucture... TO bad we didnt have still shots of it... casue you could almost see the fish giving us the FInger lol... ROFL...

THis year will be differnt lol (ahem) less Sunken items im sure....
Last years casuulties for me were...
40 doller SPud bar
Set of keys 4 bucks
1 williams half and half 6 bucks
6 Ice bugs.. 10 bucks

1 Stuck Car on the ice... (case of beer ) to the guy who Pulled me off the lake lol

I was with Molson when we LEft behind his SPud bar at 40 bucks as well lol
Though that ws left in the SNowbank beside the car when we were loading and not remembered untill almost home (2 hours) lol

Oh well Thast what we know we are in for when we brave the Elements lol!!!

TGF... Arnprior is 20 minutes west of Ottawa on the Trans-Canada highway. ;)

TroutSlayer... yes, there sure is a lot of birds this year! I have gotten more this year then I have in the past 3 years combined! Dad and I went out one day and saw 8! Only got 3 though, the other ones were too far and by the time we got close enough they took off. I also missed one that day too. Oh well, can't get them all eh! ;D

Icejunky...trigger/underspin reels are all i ever use. Since i don't fish out of a hut, they work awesome on windy days. I think the only disadvatage though, is the fact that you can't  see whats going on with your line on the spool, like you can with spinning or casting reels.
