I know some of you guys are going insane without ice, so lets dig through our garages and memories for gear that just didn't catch on.

Post pics if ya got them..

Mine is the pak shack. I used to see these things all over, but they all seem to be gone. They seemed nifty, but just never caught on.

Extra points for weird and obscure!

I think the pak shak would have caught on if it was made a little better.

I got one of those color selectors. sounded like a good idea and I just had to have it. Aint used it in 10 years.

I've got a pak shack but every time I use it I feel like its going to collapse on me. One of the feet on the chair is broken, the chair itself is cracked all over in the cloth, they're terrible in the wind and trust me- not as portable as you'd think. That shoulder carry idea SUCKS! Still better than sitting outside on the windy days and when I take my girlfriend out with me she can't get too far away

Flying lures rocked for fishing docks and weed clumps.... no seriously!

I would buy some if I came across them again. I got a full set for my 12th birthday.

Haha I never did it but saw guys poor gas on wood to start fire on ice that had about a foot of snow and ya it did the trick. But stupid surely shouldn't be pooring the gas on ice.

Filling a ball jar with minnows and lowering it down on a string. Didn't work. Old man said it was the best way to attract fish.
