You should add your location to your profile ...helps with weather in your area ..for recommendations on clothing and boots...also could be a deal near by you.

As far as choice ...do a Search of the make/model your interested tons of past posts and reviews . What are you wearing ...you looking to upgrade/down grade ?

Goggle Baffin Snow Monster.  They're pricey ($250).  But a good boot will cost you.

Sorels are good for me  They have different models for different temps  and price range    My only complaint is they aren't water proof for as long I would expect considering the price

When it’s really cold my trans Alaskans are warm and dry , my feet don’t sweat , but IMO they arent for long hauls ,  they just take Time to get use to, they have 3 inches  between foot and ice

Being a cheapskate, I buy the Sports Afield or Field and Stream boots ( can't remember what they are called ) when they are $ 60 at Dick's. Important to wear good thick wool socks with these, but the combination has always kept me comfortable.

I also have a couple pair of muck boots with just one little issue.  I love the height which allows you to slug thru the puddles but if you hunt from a ladder stand then you might catch the top of the boot on the bottom of your seat.  This could possibly cause one to loose his balance if not being really careful.  Any one else experience this problem  ?  I bought some shorter elcheapoe's at runnings which have solved the problem for now but I don't believe they'll be warm enough later on.

I’m not positive but I think the ones I got last year were thorogood not sure model. Bulky but always warm. Got those after the second pair of arctic pros started to leak. Also didn’t like how the mucks breath for ice.
My number one tip for ice fishing boots is pick the right sock. I started wearing regular everyday crew socks and have found the best luck.
The more insulation the less breathable period.

I love my Kamick IceBreakers.. Never been cold over 30 years with the two pairs I have had and the price is very reasonable.

Google the Baffin website and find a boot model that fits your style of fishing and needs.  I move around a  lot  so my feet don't tend to get cold.  These boots are really good and waterproof.

I've had Sorel Men's Glacier™ XT Boots for a few years now and my feet haven't even gotten chilly ice fishing .... even in 3" of slop. Around $180 or so .....

2nd this. They're monsters.

Love my pair of Irish Setter mud boots. They are rubber and knee high so you can go through as much slush as you want and your feet won’t get wet. They’re also so warm a lot of times I just wear regular socks cause otherwise my feet will sweat.

Always had Sorels, but a few years back decided to try Baffins.

Was suspect of a company with zero warranty.

First pair I ordered was Baffin Trappers      after 18 months the rubber cracked at the toe bend and they leaked.    Contacted Baffin and they basically said no warranty

Found a second pair of Baffin Trappers internet store with a under 100.00 price and I decided to try again …………..after approx 18 months same leakage rubber cracking.

My boots prolly are used 30 times a year for wet yard work or ice fishing.   Not abused and kept indoors and treated proper .

No more Baffin for me.    Looking for another option of a high rubber boot with removeable felt wool liner .   as my i don’t like soaking my Sorels in heavy deep .slush ?..

As someone who has looked for them for the last 4 years I know this not to be true. And even harder is finding a normal size.
You may have mistaken the used with new. In that case yea 80-100 if you can find your size. Mine is 13 extra wide. None to be had new or used. I’m done looking for them.

Check army/navy surplus stores.  There is one around here that had several pairs last time I checked for like $70.

One thing I have done in the past with pac boots.     is add a extra insole under the existing felt liner.       buy one larger than you need and trim to fit.
