Wicked aggressive today i left with 3 6 gallon buckets.
That was from 10-4 only keeping big ones.
Everyone was hammering them.

Ended up with a little under 3 buckets today. Pretty much everyone was catching fish. Saw one guy catch a 22.75 inch whitefish. The school was moving around a lot in the morning, but once it settled down we were able to fish the same area and stay on top of a load of fish. The trick was getting them to bite. Small halis tipped with spikes seemed to work quite well for the light biters. A great day on the ice!

Just over a foot of ice. Sun has begun to turn it into a candlesticks and the auger zips through it like butter. Strong enough to support a few wheelers, side-by-sides and snowmobiles. Shores are holding up pretty well, but they were getting a little sloppy towards the end of the day. The pressure crack that goes from Hathaways out toward the green can is sketchy looking, but passable, for now. Good luck and be safe! Wear your ice picks and bring a buddy if you go.

Took longer to process than to catch.
I have older friends that cant get out anymore, they enjoy getting filets.

Yesterday was my first time out after them.  I'm glad I went as it was a good time.  They are definitely fun to bring up to up to the hole.  Next time I need to remember sunscreen though.

Dont know. With the weather coming and rain it could be sketchy.
This sun is really doing a number on it.
Im done for the year there. Smaller bodies and the smaller bays will be ok for a little longer.
Whatever you do be safe and bring a bar to check the ice.

Was out there Sunday with the Circus. What a great day to burn my face off.  :%$#!:
Such a great time seeing 573 people all yanking jig rods all day.
My haul was about 80lbs
