I think I'm going to go out tomorrow morning with my buddy. If any of you have plans of fishing muddy Creek, Shannon's, or church. Let me know on here... I'd like to be by other shanties just in case.

Good ice reports guys . The key words are , BE CAUTIOUS and DO NOT go out alone . No fish is worth dying for .

Fished muddy creek area this afternoon , the ice was a good 5inches everywhere I drilled . The bite was nonstop on gills and crappie. The shoreline was a little sketchy for 2 steps.

Anybody out today? Gambler and I were debating where to go. Despite reports of ice thickness, I would feel much better with others on the ice as well. Thanks in advance!

Mo, that'd be excellent if I knew where ya were! My best guess is Porter's Cove, but a true fisherman never tells his location!

Got out on MC today. Plenty of people out, not a whole lot of fish being caught. I got the big skunk, Gambler caught a few bluegill. Some around us were catching bass on tipups. Ice held up way better than I thought through the warmup. About 6 inches of mostly clear ice. Watched for 1MO, but we saw no smoke signals or any signs of he and his tribe.

fished off the church Saturday and today and what a difference a day makes Saturday we crushed em and took home some nice crappies got a big bass and a 29" catfish.  today nothing but 5 1/2" gills and very few of them.  we drilled everywhere and couldn't find em at all. where the hell did they all go over night!

Not sure where your located , but it poured a couple times here in Butler . Nothing steady and heavy though . Still , be careful . Never know where some heavy run off may have entered the lake and created weak spots .

Was steady and heavy majority of the morning a few miles from the lake on my side.

Might get out the hockey skates and hit the ice Sunday morning. Any idea if the ice will be nice and slick after these next 2 cold nights??? Was like a skating rink last Sunday

Anyone hit the ice Friday or going Sat and care to comment on conditions? Have some morning plans but wouldnt mind and afternoon trip up if there's safe access.

Everywhere I have been this morning has been 5-6 black ice. Shores are a little sketchy the first few feet.
