Thanks esox_xtm for the leader tool. Was able to use it to make a couple pike fly leaders and land my first pike on the fly rod.

I've done some minimal toying with a 7 wt. for pike/muskies but I am nowhere close to "accomplished" so I don't spend much time at it. Glad I was able to add to your toolbox and you are most welcome!  ;)2

Thanks everyone. It was quite a fight other than that the hardest part was sticking with the fly rod while getting out fished 6 to 1 by my brother who was using a spinning rod. My casting distance is pretty limited as a beginning fly fisherman.
