The ice up there is a solid 6 inches and as far as them shutting the gate that all depends on the snow levels, usually not till after thanksgiving though, they were still plowing yesterday

Any idea how to check for the road closure?
I live in Ogden and it would be a long way to go to get turned back.

It's currently open and being plowed (I have a friend that lives in Kamas and traps in that area); after this weekend that all could change.  Kind of depends on how much snow falls from this storm.  We were going to give it a try this morning but didn't feel like chancing it w/ the weather forecasted (wind in particular).

Went up to Trial lake on Sunday. Didnt get in, the snow was to deep at the turn off.
Snow was falling and building very quick so after talking to a Sherriff and hearing about how fast the snow
has been building we decided to leave. Big time BUMMER.
