Sucker Lake
« on: Feb 02, 2007, 08:33 PM »
I am looking to expand my horizons. I have heard that there is a lake called sucker lake that has some very big pike in it. From what i can see it is somewhere near Alexander. Has any one fished this lake? Any advice? and lastly how do you get to it? If some one has been there and wants to plan a trip in there this winter better yet. Any help appreciated. Thanks Chef

Hey there, Chef.  I fished that lake a few years ago when a buddy flew me out there.  We only fished for a few hours as the ceiling started coming down...we did ok.  We didn't catch anything huge but we only tried one spot.  It would definitely be a heck of a trip on snowmachine.  It's out past Alexander, like you mentioned below.  Also, they usually get a metric shi% ton of snow out there.  Look at your Gazeteer map book, but I don't think it's a day trip.
