A Limit of Gold on the Lawrence
« on: Feb 20, 2015, 08:56 PM »
The walleye bite has been good again this winter on St. Lawrence most of my Eye's have been perfect eater size so the older folks in the neighborhood that are always asking me for fish have had a few free fills this season. With the calendar showing prime fishing I decided to head out and collect a limit of Gold for tomorrows supper. The calendar didn't let me down. I hit the ice around 4:30pm and was limited out by 6pm. All lures that are bright have seemed to work although one has produced more than others so I went and bought them all off the shelf  :P true story! The most productive depth has been 27'.Here is a pic of tonight's limit you'll see they're perfect eaters!

May your tip-up spool while your flag raises with hopes of landing the big one.
