St.Lawrence River ice report with pics

Finally got some good ice to stand on! First spot we drilled had about 2.5" to 3" of ice decided to move on. Next spot had 4" which made us happy!! Crappie, Blue gills, Perch & pike were on the target list. We knew after our first hole that the go to spot was the no go spot today unreachable due to thin ice! Seen a lot of 4-8lb pike but decided not to set up the tip ups due to the cold freezing wind. I kept a mix of Gills & Crappie while my buddy kept 10 nice size crappie. The snow owl is just some side action. Happy New Year!

great report Wingthing, nice pics!  I half expected a "no ice" report from you, I drove the parkway yesterday and saw very little ice

you will never get a "no ice" report from me, just wouldn't report it  ! I spend lots of time around mid December watching the weather and recording temps and driving to check spots out! I'm surprised Landon's Bay had no ice.

This spot was wiped out today by rain and +7 weather. Our old holes became drain holes couldn't even step on the ice! You Larry boys be careful out there!
