Moving to Ontario
« on: Nov 19, 2010, 07:33 PM »
Hi all i just want to warn you all on November 12,2012 I will be able to retire.   At that time I will be moving to your Lovely wonderful Province.    I was lucky enough to spend some time in 2007 and 2008 in the Kenora area and love it you are great people.   I don't catch a lot of fish or shoot many deer I just spend a lot of time doing it.    You have so much space to wander in and lakes to fish in.

I'll be the first to welcome you even though your not here yet.  :roflmao: The Kenora area is a great place to consider, I'm still thinking of moving to north-west Ontario myself. I go moose hunting up that way every year and I can't get enough of it.
Be safe out there, and set the iron.

There are lakes there that hardly ever get fished.    When the ice is gone I fish out of a Kayak.   One day I sat by a small lightly froze lake there was a family of Eagles and a family of otters there at the same time

I don't know what all the fuss is about. There are no fish around here and the moose all ran away. Deer are bigger in Toronto.
I'd give the area a miss if I was you. Viciouscircle buys all his fish at the Dryden IGA and brags about the fishing. Sad really. ::)
I wouldn't stop to buy gas here. Just keep on trucking to greener pastures.
Hope this helps. I wouldn't want somebody to move here and be dissapointed.
Glen
PS - If you are still serious about coming here drop me a line. All the above is BS to keep the 905ers away ;) ;)
