XMas Trees on Lake Erie

Used to use them for path markers as a kid.
Tricking is easy. It’s the killing which is the hard part.

They also used to do that on Oneida off Constantia. Came in handy on a foggy day before we had GPS.

They still do it, WHEN the lake freezes.  I remember as a kid following the Xmas trees out to the perch grounds off of pinehurst beach
