and for good reason....its the first place to freeze up round here thats worth fishing.it is a tiny pond but man it does hold some good fishes,should be fishin there rite after late muzzle loader season

ice is coming a lot earlier this year... my early spot was locked up all day yesterday as well... wont be long until i get into some perch and crappie

I was up in your neck of the woods on sat also, wanted to take a few casts . got there and it was skimmed over. hopefully will be my trip this year maybe in two to three weeks  or so.

Dunno if there's room there for all of us.  ;)
Took a drive up this afternoon. Lil too dark for me to try walking out, but I could tell it was white all the way across.
I did walk on the smaller one on the way up. I had no auger with me, but it held.
If I can get my butt out of bed early enough. I'm going to drive up before work in the morning.
