I heard that the northern fishing is pretty good in there.  My buddy's father oiwns a big chunk on the back side of the lake but we never ventured into the lake from there.  Does anybody know if you can take a machine in through the state access?  Also there is some cabins on CR10 that allow people to lauch boats there for a small fee, dont know if accessing the ice is the same or not.

Thanks guys you've helped a lot me and my buddy found the walk in were going to try it tomorrow morning. Give you a report tomorrow afternoon. That's a negative on the motorized vehicles there's a sign about it says snowmobiles are ok if ground is cover but i don't see how possible being the gate is locked

Must be just like the Adirondacks, they should open the gate then when there is sufficient snow.

Well we didn't catch a thing today, it stunk long walk in down hill, even longer walk up hill on the way out. had two flags no fish had one nice crappie on jig rod failed to bring him in. :'(, it says snowmobiles are aloud but there is no way around the locked gates.
