When it comes to balance I make the US deficit look good. Have tried a few different spikes and crawlers but have not hit on anything that seems to work on both black ice and snow pack. I'm looking at the Kahtoola MICROspikes but they run about $60 . I could hire two high school kids to follow me around and pick me up for that ,but if they work I'd do the deal.Any one use them and if so what is the report?

I'm about ready to drill hex head screws  into my boots and see if that works, giving me the studs for the ice and the existing tread for the snow, but that meas I take those boots out of the rotation for everything but hard water duty.

Arctic Spurs are the only ice cleats that I've used that will cut through the snow and into the ice and work great on glare ice too !

Less than $15.00 a pair ;)
PLASTICS ARE FANTASTIC  !!
