Anyone out there know of any good lakes to fish up around Hurley?  Thinking about making a trip up there this winter and do a little fishing.  Need good places to stay also if know anything good and reasonable.

Mostly panfish.  How's Mercer?

Not really sure about panfish.  Check lake-link.com.  It's a great site.  Use the search funtion and you should be able to find out just about anthing you want to know about WI fishing.

No, I'm from Madison.  I fish a lot in Iron, Vilas, and Florence counties and the UP with friends and in-laws.  We fish mostly for pike and walleyes.  I don't really have any good panfish spots because we move around so much I've never had a chance to try for them.
