Well it worked.......

My plan worked......the birth of my first child (little boy) will not interfere with ice season at all :) Lol. My wife and I are expecting our little boy May 5th and we couldn't be happier. Looks like in a few years there's gunna be another trap and vex in the household :) :) :)

Good job, my main concern was avoiding hunting season.  I managed Sept, Feb, and Mar.

Congrats my little one came in September. Momma has been awesome and let me out for a little goose hunting bow season and regular deer. Hope she's as tolerant for the ice fishing season

Congrats …..  your outdoor activities will be curtailed for a few years but it is well worth it  ;)

Yeah and on top of all that we are in the process of buying a house! I need some ice time guys. Woman are a different creature, but pregnant woman are a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ANIMAL!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Yeah I am into the stripers, well I was, I live in Kingston and that was a HUGE part of my life, but I sold my 24 footer a few years ago...

Hey Jay, congrats bud that is some good news! Should I expect to bump into you in western mass again?  My little girl is 20 months already so my advice to you is enjoy the challenge when they are newborns because it goes so fast!  PM me your address and I'll ship a cigar to you some time in May!

Congrats it is well worth it. My daughter just turned two and she is already into watching the hunting and fishing shows with me. I'm hoping she will grow to love the outdoors.

Congrats to you. I remember well the day my "little boy" was born. Seems like yesterday. That was 38yrs ago. Enjoy him everyday. Time goes by way too fast.

Well we had another appointment today, baby's doing well. And im pretty sure this doctor was sent by our Heavenly Father!! She asked me if I fish, I replied with "OFCOURSE I fish, ask my wife, she will tell you I have an addiction to it". She looks dead at my wife and tells her to let me fish and bring home fish whenever I can so she can have the best freshest fish for her and the baby!! And that right there made my season boys!!!!! Lol
