working saturday during the day

I will be there too.Got to fish smoewhere and who lnows may win some cash.Our group took the mystery fish division last year with a catfish.Had the guy with the best beard claim the prize money and we split the 50.00 bucks three ways paid for the entry fees and some bait.

if your talking country pond in newton , it says its sunday feb 3rd 7am till 3pm registration begins at 5:30am
registration is $7 to be paid to the clubhouse 82 pond st in newton

door prizes awarded for childeren under 12 , food available on and off the ice
bait will be available in clubhouse.
there will be cash prizes of $500

$250 largest pickeral
$125 largest white perch
$75 largest yellow perch
$50 largest miscellaneous fish

no power augers before 7 am
no lead sinkers under one ounce allowed
the judges decisions are final in all matters.

Team south Hampton will be there representing the Stateline field and stream club we will be set up by the island with bbq's blazing if anyone wants to stop by for a cold one and some wings feel free. I am hoping for a good turn out thats what derbys are all about. See ya on the ice

when i read it i was kinda confused

when it says largest micelanious fish , i thought it ment any fish
but reading it over again im thinking its an added prize for the three fish that are being entered
yellow perch
white perch
pickerel.
so if i won largest pickeral , i could win largest misc fish also?
for an extra 50 bucks?

anyone know what they mean by misc fish?

also is this a catch and release tourny?

Is this a new rule? The bass tagged in Winnie as part of the Bass Movement Survey were fish caught during permitted bass tournaments. They said the tagging took place from 2001 - 2005... so is it a rule change from 2006 on? Just curious to know why that is.

THE YEARS THAT I WENT TO THE DERBY.....THE MISC.....IS USUALLY AN EE OR A HORNPOUT......THOSE ARE THE ONLY TWO MISC THAT I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED OVER THERE........MAYBE YOU WILL CATCH ONE OF THOSE MYSTERY PIKE EVERYONE TALKS ABOUT.......PLEASE NOTE THAT A SMALL PICKERAL WILL WIN THAT BABY.......I CAUGHT ONE THAT WAS ONLY TWO AND A HALF POUNDS AND IT LASTED ALL DAY FOR THE TOP PRIZE......YOU LAND A 3 AND THE MONEY IS YOURS......DON'T BE AFRAID TO BRING A SMALL FISH DOWN THERE, BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW.......I STARTING TO TALK MYSELF INTO GOING HERE.........MAYBE I WILL SEE YOU FOLKS OUT THERE

I haven't shot much trap there except for using the manual launcher, I live right nextdoor so one of these days i will have to get up for one of the sunday morning trap shoots, I hear they serve a mean breakfast.

yes, bring a 5 gallon bucket with you........you can drive your fish down or call their cell number and they will come and pick you up

I GUESS IT DEPENDS WHERE YOU ARE FISHING, BUT THEY WILL SET UP BY THE TOWN BEACH.......THEY WILL COME AND GET YOU IF YOU HAVE A CELL PHONE.........YOU CAN CALL THEM........
