nils cordless converter adapter question
« on: Feb 07, 2018, 09:07 AM »
I am interested in the 6 '' nils cordless drill adapter , just wondering when it is connected to the auger shaft is it tight without any play between the auger and adapter ?

If you are asking about the one sold by Nils USA then the answer is yes. It is not through bolted. The design has the bolt head smaller than the hole on one side so it is snug to the inside auger shaft. It is then through a threaded hole on the other side in order to snug the shaft up very tight. Be careful how you install it. If you end up with wobble it is not installed correctly. Here is a thread that is a bit of a how too:

Glad you found it helpful.  It's very easy to loosen the bolt when you tighten the nut.
