Or $4,000 ATV, or just keep hoofing it.

me and my father called about one last summer in hopes we could get in the moose pulling industry on state land the cost was 3100 and 500 to get it here to vt ... we decided against it due to how many 12 vt deep cell batteries there was... its heavy

was able to find the actual one in the video. http://snowdog.baltmotors.ru/?lang=eng They go for between 1700-2300 before shipping. And sure one can go buy a sled or a 4 wheeler but you cant fit one of those in the back of a jeep!

Thats awesome.. If I did the conversion right the smaller model is like $1722 US.
If I get my garage done I may have one made by next winter.. Pretty simple design... ;D

that would be kool, let me know how it comes out and what it roughly costs you to put it together.

My project for the spring is going to be a twin track skid steer using two snowmobile tunnels and a riding mower. The transaxle of the mower will drive sprockets and chains to the jackshafts of the tunnels. The brakes will be used to turn the machine like a skid steer, since the transaxle works as a differential (brake right turn right, brake left turn left). It is going to look something like the vehicle below, but the drive system will be different and mine will still have the track suspension. Already have two sleds lined up and a cheap 15 hp mower. Should cost me a grand total of about $500 when finished.

not a new idea. Look up Bolens Hus-ski or Diablo Rouge on youtube. There are lots of homemade ones to view online, and a russian company that makes em, too, though I doubt you could get one right now. The electric one is kind of a neat idea, but I'd go gas. It's hard to take a jug of electricity to it if it dies half way home.
I'm not sure how well any of them would work in deep snow, but if it got stuck seems like it'd be a lot easier to wrestle it 180 degrees back onto it's own track.

would like to see a manufacture make them here. or at least someone who imports them and sells them. if you advertised them as multi-purpose utility equipment i think they would sell a ton for sure!
