Title: Twin Beach Lake Manitoba ice report .

Ice thickness 6" with 2'' snow cover with 1 foot of slush under ice first 1/4 mile . Ice ridges . Open water marsh run off at the end of Twin Beach road at the lake access.  Commercial guys with Quads and snowmachines out .  No ice anglers yet ? Next weekend for sure  :)

Thanks for the report. A foot of slush under the ice will make for challenging ice fishing. Hopefully the situation will correct itself with some colder weather. Perch fishing never does pick up much until January anyway. Might be worth a try for a few jumbo walleyes in tight though. Run off from the L. Francis drain should continue for some time. I have never seen the marsh as high as it was at freeze up.
