Anybody notice how loud the ice is today? Never heard it make so much noise ???

About 30 small gills, maybe 10 crappie and 2 small bass between 3 people

i have fished at wehrspan during the summer but never on ice. any advice?

we have always done fairly good with the bluegills and crappie on the old roadbed behind sapp brothers

never iced it either but id start on the flat along the west side of the creek channel and go from there....and like said above the road bed wouldnt be a bad place to start either, they'll use it like we do a road when were going somewhere or coming back ;D

good point i have looked at deepth charts and i have a few other places to try. the lake is just so open that looking at ice you cant find marks.

The edges of the old channel are covered in trees that get little to no pressure because everyone sorts through the fish on the roadbed.  Walk more,drill more, catch more.

My cousin and I found that out yesterday but by the time we found fish they were just lookers and no biters.
