safe ice on the king

I need to know if there is safe ice for fishing the Bolton landing or any other place where there is good ice for perch and lakers ..new to the lake and any info on places to stay 2-3 nights and areas to fish for both trout n perch .i never been before but the big perch is very interesting, how big do they get on average......thanks ..i plan to go end of month 4 guys
