what small ponds around Billings are good to fish

I am out of billings and i am loking for some small ponds to fish this winter?

Cooney, Lake Elmo, There was a gravel pit (south I think) of Billings used to be good. Call F&G up and ask them. Also do a serch on there web site. Good luck.

thank you. i will have to go and give it a try.I was out at laurel and it hade 3,4 in of ice on it . i got 2 rainbows one was 13 and the other was 12 on corn and cheese.

If you are willing to drive a hour or two: These could be could be considered in the "Area" depending on your definition and Montana being as big as it is....

You might want to try Deadmans (about 80 miles), Petrolia (about 90 miles), Tongue River Reservoir (about 105 miles), Castle Rock Lake (about 130 miles).

Did part of My open water dive at Laurel and the water had a bit of an odor,taste to it.How are the fish for taste?
