Good day for equipment mods!
« on: Jan 28, 2012, 08:46 AM »
Bad day for ice in my parts.  Good day to do a few things Ive been wanting to do.

I think I'll finally get that plywood floor in my tub.  Make a new bucket seat. Add those led light to the shanty.  Who knows what else.

Not fishing but should be a feel good for sure.

Whats the purpose behind the floor in the sled?

organization/storage? just a cool mod to kill some time?  I've read different posts about doing it, just not sure why? lol

Love to see some pics of the finished project!

In my Rotospun Frabil tub the ribs are pretty high. Even with the hi fax bolt cut off at the nut stuff slides around in the grooves in between.   The nuts just rips things up.

It's to protect my tackle bag, camara case and such.

I also don't care for the seating in this rig so I use 6 gallon buckets and they rock in the grove closest to the side walls as its pretty wide.  This  fixed that as well.

I'll post you a pic but this is a very modest floor to say the least.
