Jiffy 31 run issue
« on: Mar 12, 2019, 01:48 PM »
Hey guys, i inherited a jiffy model31 auger a few years back. Cleaned the carb and put fresh gas and been using since. I recently went with a buddy who had a new jiffy, unsure of model, and it really screamed. Mines never really had that 2 stroke scream. Replaced spark plug, replaced carb diaphragm, tried adjusting carb screws, still runs the same. Any ideas?

Run some sea foam through it.  Brobably a dirtyjet.  Some take time to come on the governor to get that 2stroke scream going

Thanks, will try that. I also noticed the high speed screw has a blunt end, is this normal or do i have a broken tip? The low speend has a nice fine tip to it in comparison.
