Any ice in Baraga / L'anse area yet?

Any hope of ice soon in the bay in Baraga?  I live 30 miles away and haven't been able to get there to take a look.

not looking good at all MJ
was down there yesterday and there is only 4-6 feet of ice along the shore line
no ice by the willows,, some ice over by lance at Indian country sports shop but it looks white and no shanty's
the water is too warm, you could see the water vapor rising up to make lake effect snow
stopped by chassell boat launch and there was about a dozen flip over shanty's closer to the ramp
no one out on the other side if the bay there
as for thickness I don't know we never checked
looks like we will be heading down there Monday or Tuesday to give it a go

Looking at the long range forecast, it looks like the entire bay will be open water for the next few weeks.  I do know of people fishing off the docks  in L'anse and catching steelhead with spawn.
