Was just wondering what guys target fish is when they go fishing at the Iowa great lakes.
Perch? Gills? Walleye?pike?other?

Just getting started with my ice fishing after retiring , so far just been working on gills and crappies , using a camera I do pretty good , using my helix I have to get a lot better

Mostly perch, gills, and crappie.

Walleyes, perch and crappie. Sometimes panfish.
Heading to Spirit in the morning.

Depends on what’s biting. If spirit has a decent perch bite I’ll go for them otherwise go for blue gills, crappie and yellow bass. Caught a few walleye but never specifically targeted them.

Depends what is biting. I always enjoy Spirit and going for Perch but tend to overall be more successful fishing panfish (bluegill crappie yellows) on East, West or Miniwacrapa. Will often do a morning on one lake and then an afternoon on a different lake.
