Anyone know the regs for using a sled there? Someone told me today that we have to be registered in NY or Vt and need a riding class card and insurance. Is this true? If so Is it true dor wheelers too?
Just checked some ATV reg sites...looks like you do not have to register in VT as long as you are registered in your home state...as long as you are not using designated club riding trails...that wouldnt be on a lakeIf I am registered in my own home state or province, do I need to register in VT too?No, as long as your machine(s) is registered, you do not need to re-register it in the state of Vermont.
You are correct on the regs. I think you also need to have vehicle insured.Registered in home state and insured you will be all set.Good luck
