CREEL SURVEYS
« on: Feb 10, 2012, 07:39 PM »
Trying to get a bit more info on a couple lakes before we come up to fish. Can anyone tell me the best way to find out info on what was taken from creel studies in Lac Vieux Desert? Was going to try to phone the dnr tomorrow. just can't seem to find a link on the web. Found one last year for Indiana, but, forgot how. Thanks, for all the help in advance. Al

Love the fish stocking info.  Helps me decide where to go with the fly rod in summer.

I searched for a long time and could not find any Michigan creel reports online.  Doesn't surprise me since the MiDNR website is as user friendly as a bed of nails.   Sure seems like they would be available for all to read.  If you find something from the DNR please post it.

I found this from the Wisconsin DNR on Lac Vieux Desert (http://dnr.wi.gov/fish/nor/docs/2006-07_vilas_lacvieuxdesert_creel.pdf ).  Its from 2006/7 and I think its the same lake you are looking for- I've never been there.   The complete list of Wisconsin Creel reports are here:  http://dnr.wi.gov/fish/nor/trtycrlsrvys.html

Hope this helps.
