I was thinking...."Land of 10,000 frozen lakes".....or "Ice fishing capitol of the world" We should be proud of the contributions our state make to ice fishing. Minnesota is to ice fishing what Colorado is to skiing.

I like the black background, but use all white or yellow for the Motto instead of red. It will show up better.

Are the font sizes OK for you or do they need to be resized to the size of the little sunny in your avatar

Well, my vote would have to be for the black background. Still like your original design w/ the walleye jeff, but i think that one looks more "official"
