Not that recently... but I checked it 2 weeks ago right before the first snowstorm and it had 10" of mediocre ice out in the middle, shorelines were getting squishy. Doubt it has gotten any better with all the snow pushing down on the ice.

I ran out there last Saturday after work, and the ice was ok. Was out on Indian Brook Wednesday after the snow quit, and the ice was fine there as well. Tough walking, though.

I'd imagine by this weekend, the ice on Colchester will be fine anywhere out there.

That said, I'd bet you see a good 3-4 inches of white ice on top of the black. Be careful.

theres some big, open holes out there  (bring a spud) but i found decent ice on the north eastern side.
