Keeping batteries warm

So in the super cold days on the ice what do you guys do to keep your batteries warm so the cold don't kill them I had issues with it last year
I'm not brightest tool in the shed my ice auger is

Small cooler with a hand warmer and I include other things I don't want to freeze...

Put extra cordless drill battery for auger and or extra 12v lithium inside a pair of Wool hunting socks. Works great. And always have a spare set of warm socks with me if needed.
