Does any one know the reason the business is for sale? Just wondering been going for years just noticed the sign.

its been up for sale for years,dave just wants to retire.

How could you blame him, if you've been around there in September and October?  He always ran a great place, we always stopped there when the lower river wasn't pay for play, but now we stay on 104 past 11 and then cut North, so I rarely see Port Ontario.

          MY partner and I have bought bait from Dave for many years. Great gut outstanding shop and wonderful people.

I used to stop there often when I was in school and just starting out on the SR and ice fishing Sandy. Always helpful and pleasant. Purchased a lot of my "first" equipment there. 

Congrats on the impending retirement.
