Lake Simcoe Outfitters
« on: Jan 30, 2017, 12:09 PM »
Hi all,

I'm looking to go with an outfitter on Lake Simcoe, any recommendations? I'm hoping for the shack to be on laker/whitie grounds but close to decent perch fishing.

On another note I tried Lake Nipissing with Lake Nipissing Ice Fishing Charters in January. Caught 41 walleye but not one keeper. Overall they were nice people but very disorganized.

Cheers,

Lenny

Bonnie Boats runs ice fishing operations out on Simco. 905-722-3862 is the number to the shop.  never used them since I have my own equipment but they run huts and transport you onto the ice.

We have used Floyd Hales out of Beaverton 1-800-363-4704
They will take you out and pick you up, We rode in a old bombardier which can hold 10-14 people, The ride in one of those vehicles was worth the price alone !
They provide all the minnows you can use and have lots of heated huts and ice bungalows.

Bonnie Boats are at Jacksons Point   and would be an option,   However they do not have Huts out right now.

Tim Hales or Floyd Hales are both good, Out of Beaverton Right now huts are on Perch Grounds only.

The LakerWhitefish grounds are a long way out and not near the Perch

The only operator out on Laker Whitie grounds is Bear Point Huts in Kempenfelt Bay But once again not close to Perch

Have Fun
Cheers

Thanks all! Booked with Floyd Hales. Putting their equipment at risk to being their clients out to where the good fishing is, that's my type of outfitter  ;D
