I always thought that fishing from inside an igloo would be one of the best places to ice fish from. It's basically the least expensive ice shanty build there is, it just takes the time to build it. I finally got my chance to build one and had the right conditions and the time to do it. The best part is I don't have to remove it from the lake at the end of the season. How many of you all have wondered how fishing in an igloo would work? Here is how it went for us!

That's pretty COOL (pun intended) , but you can't run any heat in it can you??
-
yeah you can, if its cold outside it helps the igloo connect together and makes it stronger actually.

Great job. It was nice to see everyone doing their part. I’m glad you didn’t give up after the roof fell in.
I’m sure the fish tasted extra special too!

After seeing the temps he posted up there, I think he might want to do double wall and insulate with polar bear hide in between the snow walls. ;D

Cool vid, It came across my youtube recommended list. Even better now that I know it was made by a shanty member.

It's good to see that some of that gets out to other ice shanty members on Youtube as well...Are you subscribed to the channel out of curiosity?
